Tottenham target left out of AC Milan’s International Champions Cup squad
AC Milan have left Suso out of their International Champions Cup squad in China amidst reports Tottenham are readying a fresh bid for the 23-year-old winger, reports Football Italia.
Spurs are yet to make a signing in the summer window, but have been heavily linked with a move for the Spanish winger as head coach Mauricio Pochettino aims to improve his side’s wide options.
The north London side are thought to be preparing a €22m bid for the former Liverpool ace, with AC Milan’s decision not to include Suso in the travelling party expected to heighten speculation of a possible move away from Italy.
Spurs have been left frustrated by their efforts to bring in new faces during the off season after Wilfried Zaha penned a new five-year deal at Crystal Palace.
Everton, meanwhile, value Ross Barkley at £50m, though their efforts to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson could force them into selling the England international for a cheaper price.
Suso, though, remains a viable alternative to Spurs, with the youngster impressing in Serie A last season as a WhoScored rating of 7.21 suggests.
