Revealed: The Ghana stars tearing Premier League defences apart this season
As we enter the November international break, with 11 Premier League gameweeks behind us, we’re reflecting on a number of stat leaders in the English top-flight so far.
One of the most exciting attacking metrics is successful dribbles, measuring and revealing the most direct, electric players in the division.
After 11 matches, the top three for successful dribbles is made up entirely by Ghanaian internationals, in Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu (29), West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus (28), and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (24).

Fatawu rocketed to the top of the pile with a stunning individual performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, despite Leicester’s 3-0 defeat. The 20-year-old completed a whopping 12 successful dribbles in that game alone, making up more than a third of his tally for the season so far.
Fatawu’s 12 completions in a single Premier League game was by far the most for any player so far this season, and the most since compatriot Kudus completed 14 against Chelsea back in May.

Kudus’ presence in the current top three will come as no surprise, given he ended last season with 124 successful dribbles, at least 37 more than any other player in the division. It would be fair to assume that he would be leading the way again this term, if not for an ongoing suspension.
Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo comes in at third, having completed nearly half as many successful dribbles (24) as he managed across the whole of 2023/24 (50).
The 24-year-old has stepped up into the role of the Cherries’ key man following the departure of Dominic Solanke, registering four goals and one assist thus far.
