Arsenal will bid for Bournemouth ace Fraser after Europa League final

Arsenal are looking to beat their rivals to Ryan Fraser by bidding for the Bournemouth winger immediately after the Europa League final next week, claims The Independent.

Fraser has been a revelation for Bournemouth this season and the Cherries are resigned to losing the 25-year-old after he rejected an offer of a new long-term deal.

The Scotland international has just over 12 months left on his existing Bournemouth deal and he has emerged as a leading transfer target for Arsenal boss Unai Emery.

Emery is on the market for a new winger to replace Danny Welbeck, who will leave the club this summer when his own contract expires.

Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha has been linked with a move to the Emirates but the Gunners have been priced out of a move for the former Manchester United forward.

Fraser has been linked with a number of the Premier League’s top-six since the end of the campaign but Arsenal are ready to make the first move for his services.

Bournemouth value Fraser at £30m and are determined to command as high a fee as possible due to the fact Aberdeen are entitled to 20 per cent of the transfer fee.

Only Eden Hazard (15) registered more assists in the Premier League than Fraser this season (14), while the Bournemouth ace created at least 10 more clear-cut goalscoring opportunities (28) than any other player in the division.
