Tottenham have confirmed that they have reach an agreement with Napoli for the sale of Vlad Chiriches.
The Romanian had been expected to depart White Hart Lane this summer after falling down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino.
Napoli, meanwhile, had been in the market for a new defender following Miguel Britos' move to Watford.
Spurs are expected to pocket an initial £3.5m from Chiriches sale, with a further £1.42m coming in through add-ons.
After making 16 league starts in his debut campaign in London, the 25-year-old was restricted to just eight Premier League starts last season, four of which came at right-back.
