Leicester have announced they have signed Sporting Gijon defender Luis Hernandez on a four-year deal.
Hernandez, 27, will officially join the Premier League champions when his contract with Sporting expires at the end of the month.
The Sporting centre-back is a product of the Real Madrid academy and made just shy of 150 appearances for the La Liga minnows.
No player made more interceptions in La Liga than Hernandez last season (140).
