Bournemouth striker Joshua King has reservations over a potential move to Tottenham as he doesn’t want to be back up to Harry Kane, reports The Daily Mirror.
Tottenham are interested in signing the former Manchester United striker this summer in a bid to bolster their offensive options and hope the promise of Champions League football would sway the Norway international.
However, King is aware that he could spend large chunks of the season watching on from the bench and would only consider leaving Bournemouth to benefit his career and not to earn more money.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is also interested in signing the 25-year-old this summer after he scored 16 goals in the Premier League last season and will continue to monitor his future.
The Toffees want to revamp their offensive options this summer but a lot will depend on whether Chelsea match their £100m valuation for star man Romelu Lukaku. Burnley’s Andre Gray is also being tracked.
In 2017, only Kane (21) and Lukaku (15) has scored more Premier League goals than King (13), while only the Tottenham ace (12) has converted more clear-cut chances (King – 11).
