Leicester vs Tottenham Prediction and Predicted Lineups: Will Solanke start for Spurs?

After an exciting opening weekend of Premier League action so far, attention turns to the Monday Night Football as Tottenham travel to newly-promoted Leicester.

Spurs will be hoping to improve on their fifth-placed finish under Ange Postecoglou last term this time around, while Leicester, under the guidance of new manager Steve Cooper, will simply be bidding for Premier League survival.

Ahead of the clash on Monday evening, we’ve made a prediction for the game, as well as providing our predicted line-ups for both teams.

Could new signing Dominic Solanke start for Spurs?

We’re expecting Dominic Solanke to make his Tottenham debut from the start at the King Power Stadium, with captain Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski flanking him on either wing.

Ange Postecoglou could also be poised to hand a debut to 18-year-old Archie Gray, who made the move to north London from boyhood club Leeds United earlier this summer.

For the hosts, Facundo Buonaotte - who finalised a season-long loan from Brighton last week - could be handed a start by Steve Cooper.

The Foxes are also said to be close to completing the signing of Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp, though the 23-year-old will not be available for Monday’s game.

Predicted line-ups

Predicted Leicester XI: Hermansen; Pereira, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Winks, Ndidi; Fatawu, Buonanotte, Mavididi; Cannon

Predicted Tottenham XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Maddison, Gray; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son
