Jamie Vardy only registered 22 touches in Leicester’s 5-0 win over Newcastle but the former England international still managed to score twice, showing his killer instinct in front of goal remains at the age of 32.

 

Matt Doherty (Wolves) / Ricardo Pereira (Leicester) – 13 points

 

Matt Doherty turned in a WhoScored Man of the Match display in Wolves’ 2-0 win over Watford, as Nuno’s side earned their first Premier League win of the season. Doherty scored and weighed in with six tackles and interceptions combined.

 

Ricardo Pereira demonstrated what a tremendous pick-up he was for Leicester with another sublime display at right-back at the weekend. The 25-year-old has now scored in back-to-back matches for the Foxes and completed five tackles and interceptions combined against Newcastle.
