He can play every position that does not go behind central midfield. His goals come from all angles and in different ways. His assists are the same. Palmer is by its definition, a human anomaly.

According to FootballTransfers' Player Valuation Model, Palmer has a current Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of  €67.3m, while we have him as being the sixth most valuable English player in the world. 

There may be utterances that it is not high enough, but Palmer was valued at just €4.6m when Chelsea paid €47m for him just over a year ago. It means, Palmer has seen an increase in value that is almost 15-fold.

Palmer's versatility has been a key talking point. He drifts into channels with an exceptional ability to exploit space and create goalscoring opportunities for his teammates. His agility and ball-carrying skills allow him to drive toward goal with precision and purpose.

There’s no disputing that Palmer is currently one of the best-performing players in the world, surpassing all expectations. He could very well become Chelsea’s biggest star since Frank Lampard. 

"Initially I didn’t want to leave [Man City.] I said I would go on loan and play for a year so I was ready for first team football more because I didn’t play a lot of minutes [last season]," he told the Daily Mail. "But then Pep said 'you’re either staying or you’re getting sold' and, so yeah, I just got sold. 

"I was a bit confused why they wouldn’t let me go on loan but [then] I said I wanted to go to Chelsea and I’m glad it’s turned out the way it has."
