Joan Garcia (Espanyol) - 9.26

While he was unable to help Espanyol to a result at Real Betis, Joan Garcia's performance in the 1-0 loss in Seville was enough to make the European Team of the Week. Indeed, Garcia made 10 saves, including a first half penalty stop to deny Abde Ezzalzouli, on his way to a WhoScored rating of 9.26.

James Justin (Leicester) - 8.49

James Justin may have been part of a defence that shipped four at the weekend, but the Leicester star impressed in the eventual 4-2 loss to title chasing Arsenal. Justin scored both Foxes goals at the Emirates, getting the better of David Raya with two of three shots, while an additional 10 clearances helped the defender to a WhoScored rating of 8.49.

Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace) - 8.44

Crystal Palace's winless start to the season continued as they fell to a 2-1 loss at Everton on Saturday. Nevertheless, Marc Guehi did enough to make the European Team of the Week with a WhoScored rating of 8.44. The England international scored his side's only goal at Goodison Park, made 10 clearances and won six aerial duels to make the cut.

Jubal (Auxerre) - 8.28

Auxerre eased to a 3-0 win over Brest on Friday evening, with centre-back Jubal solid at the back. The Brazilian bagged his first league goal of the season, netting with one of two efforts, won six aerial duels and made five clearances in a fine rearguard display.

Theo Hernandez (AC Milan) - 8.75

Rounding off the backline is AC Milan's Theo Hernandez, who earned a WhoScored rating of 8.75 in Friday's 3-0 win over Lecce. The Frenchman was directly involved in two of AC Milan's three goals, following up his 38th minute assist for Alvaro Morata with a goal of his own three minutes later, those coming from respective returns of three key passes and two shots.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) - 9.63

Bukayo Saka failed to directly contribute to a goal in Arsenal's 4-2 win over Leicester on Saturday afternoon but it wasn't for want of trying. Saka made eight key passes and fired off seven shots in the home victory. An additional eight successful dribbles saw the Gunners star earn a WhoScored rating of 9.63.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) - 10.0

Cole Palmer is the European Player of the Week having returned a perfect WhoScored 10 rating in Chelsea's 4-2 win over Brighton on Saturday. Palmer scored all four Chelsea goals against the Seagulls, netting with seven shots, and he made four key passes in the best rated display in a Premier League match so far this season.

Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt) - 10.0

Like Palmer, Omar Marmoush was directly involved in all four goals as Eintracht Frankfurt earned a 4-2 win at Holstein Kiel. Marmoush bagged a brace from two shots and returned a pair of assists from five key passes as the Egypt international earned a perfect WhoScored 10 rating.

Bradley Barcola (PSG) - 9.66

Bradley Barcola warmed up for PSG's Champions League tie with Arsenal tonight in fine fashion, netting goals number five and six for the season as the defending champions defeated Rennes 3-1 on Friday night. The 22-year-old also made three key passes and completed two dribbles to return a WhoScored rating of 9.66.

Jonathan David (Lille) - 9.64

Partnering Guirassy on the frontline is Lille star Jonathan David after he bagged a hat-trick in Saturday's 3-0 win at Le Havre. David struck with three of seven shots and created two chances to round off the XI with a WhoScored rating of 9.64.
