Real Sociedad defender Carlos Martinez insists everyone at the club is behind under-pressure coach David Moyes.
The Basque club are currently just outside the bottom three in La Liga on goal difference having only won one game from their opening seven matches in Moyes’ first full season in charge.
Sociedad made the former Manchester United manager head coach in November last year with the club 15th in the league and the Glaswegian successfully managed to steer them away from the drop zone to finish just outside the top 10.
However, the club find themselves in a similar position to this time last year, but Martinez is adamant the club are fully behind the manager.
“Yes, all of us have complete faith in him – the team, the president and all of the players,” Martinez told AS.
“The club and the president put faith in David and we have to continue banking on him. But of course it’s the results which count here and we are hoping to pick up three points from the next game which will take the pressure off.”
Moyes’ tough start to the season will not get any easier when they host Atletico Madrid immediately after the international break comes to a close next weekend.
