Napoli are considering whether to extend Gonzalo Higuain’s contract, according to II Mattino.
Higuain, 28, has been in sensational form since joining Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013 and was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer.
The Argentina international still has three years to run on his current deal, but his agent is reportedly in town to offer negotiate his contract extension.
Higuain has scored at least two more goals than any other player in Serie A this season (12).
