Kroos the latest Real Madrid star contemplating summer exit
Toni Kroos has joined Raphael Varane in considering his future at Real Madrid this summer, claims AS.
Varane is reportedly keen on finding a new challenge at the end of the season after eight years at Madrid.
Manchester United are keen to sign the 25-year-old this summer and could now reignite their interest in his Madrid team-mate.
Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly made Premier League duo Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen top transfer targets this summer.
Both would provide direct competition for places with Kroos and the Germany international is now wondering whether the time has come to leave Madrid.
The 29-year-old has endured a difficult campaign for Madrid but would not be short of suitors if made available for transfer at the end of the season.
Kroos is well on course to garner his lowest WhoScored rating in a single league campaign during his five-year stint at the club.
The German midfielder’s lowest WhoScored rating at Madrid in a league campaign prior to this one was 7.33 but it is currently only 7.11.
Despite that, Kroos has the best pass accuracy in La Liga this term (93.6%).
