Antonio Conte blocked Leicester City’s loan move for Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, according to The Independent.
Chalobah, 21, spent last season on loan with Napoli and there had been an attempt to keep the defensive midfielder at the San Paolo this summer.
However, Conte rejected loan offers from the likes of Napoli, Sevilla and Premier League rivals Leicester after the England Under-21 international impressed the Italian manager in pre-season.
Chalobah has played 88 times for England at under age level but is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea’s first-team.
