West Ham are the latest Premier League outfit keen on signing Championship star Said Benrahma from Brentford, claims The Sun.
Benrahma finished the 2019/20 season as WhoScored's Championship Player of the Season after a breathtaking campaign for Brentford.
Chelsea have already been heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old winger but are unlikely to step up their interest if they get a deal over the line for Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz.
After missing out on automatic promotion to the Premier League, Brentford will struggle to hold on to Benrahma this summer if they do not win the play-offs.
West Ham manager David Moyes is looking to press ahead with plans for next season after securing their Premier League status in midweek.
Moyes has earmarked Benrahma as a top transfer target and is even willing to offload the likes of Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Albian Ajeti to broker a deal.
West Ham want to clear out some of their deadwood this summer and that includes £40m-signing Anderson who has barely featured under Moyes this season.
January signings Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen have hit the ground running for West Ham and Moyes' hopes the board back him more this summer as a result.
