Arsenal and Everton eye summer move for Ajax sensation
Arsenal and Everton want to sign €40m (£34.5m) rated Ajax winger David Neres at the end of the season, claims The Daily Telegraph.
Neres is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe and was heavily linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund in January.
The Bundesliga outfit reportedly had a bid for the 22-year-old rejected at the start of the year with a view to making him Jadon Sancho’s successor.
Neres scored a sensational goal in Ajax’s 1-1 draw with Juventus on Wednesday night and Arsenal and Everton are both keen on his signature.
Both Premier League sides are understood to already held talks about the Brazil international but there are other clubs in Europe monitoring his development.
Neres has played a direct hand in 16 goals in 26 league appearances for Ajax this season, though is unlikely to match his tally of 25 goals and assists from last season.
