Real Madrid sign highly-rated teenager from Copa Libertadores champions
Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Reinier from Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo.
The teenager made just 14 league appearances for the 2019 Brasileirao winners, eight of which were starts, but the Brazilian scored six and provided two assists for Flamengo.
Reinier has since penned a deal with Los Blancos until 2026.
"Real Madrid CF and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have agreed to transfer Reinier," a statement read on the club's official website.
"The player will join Real Madrid Castilla when he finishes his participation in the U-23 Pre-Olympic Tournament."

Reinier follows compatriots Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in moving from Brazil to Madrid at such a young age as Real Madrid seek to acquire the best young Brazilian stars.
The 18-year-old becomes Real Madrid's first signing of 2020 as the club prepares to revamp their ageing midfield.
Indeed, experienced midfielder Luka Modric has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this month, with a switch to MLS with DC United on the cards.
