Manchester City are preparing a bid to sign Charlton Athletic teenager Ademola Lookman, reports the Daily Mail.
The Blues have heavily invested in their youth academy and are always scouring the English market for the most sought after talents with Lookman among those they are currently monitoring.
City have sent scouts to watch Lookman on two occasions this season and they were present to watch the 18-year-old score both of Charlton’s goals in their 2-2 draw with Bolton on Tuesday night.
In fact, the English teenager has scored three goals in his last two Championship appearances and he is now the Addicks’ leading goalscorer (3).
