Manchester City willing to offer pay €50m for Bayern Munich outcast
Manchester City have intimated to Bayern Munich that they would be willing to pay up to €50m (£43.1m) for Kingsley Coman in the summer, reports L’Equipe, via Get French Football.
Coman has entered the final few months of his two-year loan deal with Bayern and the France international hopes Carlo Ancelotti’s side honour their agreement to make the switch permanent in a €25m (£21.5m) this summer.
The 20-year-old has no interest in returning to parent club Juventus and wants to establish himself as a regular at Bayern in the coming seasons, with both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery closing in on the end of their respective careers.
However, Coman has struggled for game time under Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola, who brought the former Paris Saint-Germain youth product to Bavaria last season, is keen to reunite with the winger at City.
Despite only starting five league matches this season, only five players have completed more dribbles in the last two Bundesliga campaigns than Coman (97).
