Liverpool interested in January move for Dortmund starlet

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic in January, reports The Daily Mail.

Pulisic, 18, has been a sensation for Dortmund this season and Klopp is keen to sign the teenager as he continues to eye improvements to his squad.

With Danny Ings ruled out for the rest of the season and Sadio Mane set for African Cup of Nations duty with Senegal at the start of next year, the Liverpool manager has already admitted he could be forced into the transfer market in January to keep Liverpool at pace with their Premier League rivals.

Liverpool have been monitoring Pulisic’s progress all season but any deal to sign the United States international in January appears unlikely, while a move next summer would be easier to complete.

Only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (7) and Gonzalo Castro (6) have played a direct hand in more Bundesliga goals this season for Dortmund than Pulisic (5).
