Juventus have agreed to sign Riccardo Saponara from Empoli in the summer, according to Sport Mediaset.
Saponara, 24, has been in impressive form for Empoli this season and his performances have seen him linked with a move to Liverpool before Christmas.
However, Liverpool may already have lost out on the Italian attacking midfielder with reports suggesting Juventus have already agreed a deal in principle worth £11m to sign him in the summer.
According to Sport Mediaset, Juventus will send Gianluca Lapadula, who is currently on loan at Serie B side Pescara, the other way.
Since the start of the season, only Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik (50) has created more chances from open play than Saponara (46).
