Real Madrid agree terms with Robert Lewandowski

Real Madrid have agreed a deal in principle with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, claims Mundo Deportivo.

Lewandowski has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in recent years and it is claimed the Poland international recently changed agents in a bid to finally secure his dream move.

The Spanish giants are plotting wholesale changes to their squad at the end of the season and Florentino Perez has moved for Lewandowski after accepting a deal for Neymar is out of the question this summer.

Lewandowski has reportedly agreed terms to a two-year deal with Madrid, with an option for further 12 months and now Madrid only need to agree a fee with Bayern.

The 29-year-old’s agent is reportedly also in talks with Manchester United and Chelsea but Madrid are the overwhelming favourites for his signature if he leaves Bayern this summer.

Lewandowski has scored at least 10 more goals than any other player in the Bundesliga this season (23), while only trailing by one goal in the race to finish as the top goalscorer in Europe’s top five leagues.
