West Ham still pursuing Colombia international

West Ham have not given up hope of signing AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, reports Goal.

The Hammers have launched a £26m move for the Colombian frontman as they strive to strengthen their attack this summer.

However, Bacca is reluctant to move to east London, with the striker hoping to secure a switch to a Champions League side this summer.

West Ham, though, are confident that a hefty financial incentive will convince the 29-year-old to move to the Olympic Stadium, with Premier League side prepared to make Bacca one of their highest earners.

Bacca, who signed a four-year deal with Milan following his arrival from Sevilla last summer, netted 18 league goals for the Serie A side in his debut campaign at the San Siro, the third best return in Italy’s top tier.
