Crystal Palace star Zaha out for a month

Wilfried Zaha's knee injury is not as bad as first feared but the Crystal Palace winger is still expected to be sidelined for around four weeks, reports Sky Sports.

The Ivory Coast internaitonal suffered a knee injury during Palace's 1-1 draw with Newcastle at the weekend but managed to get through the match without needing to come off.

Scan results revelaed knee ligament damage but the 25-year-old went to see a specialist on Tuesday amid fears the Palace ace would be sidelined for a considerable amount of time.

However, it has now been revealed the injury is not as bad as first suspected but he is still expected to miss Palace's next three matches against Everton, Tottenham and former club Manchester United at the very least.

Roy Hodgson has done a fantastic job getting Palace three points clear of the bottom three but they have lost all six of the Premier League matches Zaha has not started this season.

Not only that, but only Eden Hazard (110) has completed more dribbles than the Palace star (82) in the Premier League this season.
