Brazil international Hulk has revealed he is prepared to spend the next 10 years with Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg if he is still wanted by the club.
Hulk has been regularly linked with a move to England but has remained loyal to Zenit, whom he joined from Porto in 2012.
However, the Brazilian striker is prepared to resist any temptations of leaving Zenit and commit his remaining years to the club.
“As I’ve said, I’m very happy here,” Hulk told the club’s official website. “I love St. Petersburg, Zenit and the fans.
“My contract ends in 2019 but, if the club and the fans want it, I’m happy to extend until 2025.”
Hulk has made a breathtaking start to the season, particularly in Europe, where he is currently the competition’s highest rated player by some distance, according to WhoScored (9.12).
The 29-year-old has played a direct hand in five goals in just three games in Europe this season to help Zenit boost the only 100 per cent record in the Champions League group stages.
