Swansea in talks to end Renato Sanches’ loan deal

Swansea are in talks with Bayern Munich to end Renato Sanches loan deal next month, reports Portuguese outlet Mais Futebol.

It was considered a huge coup when Swansea secured the services of Sanches on a season-long loan deal in the summer but 2016 Golden Boy’s stint has been nothing short of disastrous.

Sanches has struggled to adapt to the Premier League and his performances have been so bad that Paul Clement’s side want to terminate his stint six months early.

Having already featured for Bayern this season, the 20-year-old would not be able to join another team in January under FIFA rules, which state a player cannot play for more than two clubs in a single campaign.

Of Swansea players that have started at least five Premier League matches this season, only fellow summer signing Roque Mesa (6.35) has a lower WhoScored rating than Sanches (6.43).
