Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Nolito after the Spain international revealed he will sign a new deal with Celta Vigo.
Nolito, 29, has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal and a return to Barcelona in recent months following a sensational start to the campaign.
The former Barcelona academy graduate is currently sidelined for a month with injury, but has moved to dismiss reports of an exit and has insisted he will sign a new deal with the club.
“The only truth is that I am very happy in Vigo and, therefore, with just minor details to be resolved I am going to renew my contract with Celta shortly,” Nolito told Marca.
