Tom Carroll is close to securing a move away from Tottenham, reports talkSPORT.
The 24-year-old has made just two starts in all competitions this season with Mousa Dembele, Victor Wanyama, Eric Dier and Harry Winks ahead of Carroll in the Spurs pecking order.
The midfielder is widely expected to leave White Hart Lane this month, with Swansea set to secure his services on a permanent basis.
Carroll spent time at the Liberty Stadium on loan during the 2014/15 season, where he made eight league starts and five sub appearances to return a WhoScored rating of 6.39.
It is thought that Spurs will accept an initial offer of £5m for Carroll, with that possibly rising to £9m with add-ons included.
Talks have been ongoing for some time between Spurs and Swansea, but a resolution will be found before the close of the transfer window.
Carroll made 19 Premier League appearances for the north London side last season, but has routinely struggled to hold down a regular starting spot under Mauricio Pochettino.
