Erik Lamela is demanding £120,000-a-week to commit to a new deal at Tottenham, according to The Daily Mirror.
The Argentina international has been in sensational form for Tottenham since the start of last season to put behind his disappointing start to life in north London following his £30m from Roma in 2013.
Tottenham have already got Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen to commit their future to the club but Lamela is looking to double his current £60,000-a-week wages to become their highest paid player.
Since the start of last season no player has committed more fouls in the Premier League than Lamela (71).
