Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all chasing £40m Monaco goal machine
Premier League trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all keeping tabs on Monaco's Wissam Ben Yedder, who is valued at £40m, reports L'Equipe via TEAMtalk.
The Frenchman has been a revelation upon his return to Ligue 1 having netted 18 goals for top-four chasing Monaco; no player has scored more in France's top tier this term.
However, with the 2019/20 Ligue 1 season over as a result of the global Coronavirus outbreak, Ben Yedder will have no chance to add to that return.
Yet potential suitors have been impressed with his goalscoring performances and are prepared to make a move for the 29-year-old this summer.
Indeed, Liverpool have been linked with a host of big name strikers of late, including Victor Osimhen, Dries Mertens and Kylian Mbappe.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is eyeing up replacements for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been linked with a move away from the Emirates, and possibly Alexandre Lacazette, with the Frenchman being watched by Atletico Madrid.
United, meanwhile, are one of a number of sides monitoring Aubameyang as they look to bring in a new frontman this summer, with Monaco star Ben Yedder a possible solution to their attacking woes.
