Tottenham have joined the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakictic, but there is plenty of interest in the Croat, reports The Mail on Sunday.
The Blaugrana are prepared to revamp their midfield this summer, with Rakitic and Arturo Vidal among those available to interested parties.
Vidal has been linked with a move to Newcastle, and Rakitic could yet following the Chilean to England this summer.
Spurs are looking to strengthen in midfield, yet the north London side would face competition for the 32-year-old.
Indeed, Premier League rivals Manchester United, LaLiga duo Atletico Madrid and Sevilla, and Serie A pair Juventus and Napoli are all monitoring Rakitic.
The Croatia international has a little over a year left to run on is current deal at Camp Nou and Barcelona are prepared to let him leave this summer having attempted to use Rakitic in a deal to re-sign Neymar from PSG last year.
Rakitic has been restricted to just 10 league starts for Barcelona this season, which has increased speculation that his time with the LaLiga champions is drawing to a close.
