Unsettled Manchester United star Pogba admits interest in playing with Neymar

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed it would be a ‘pleasure’ to play alongside Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

Pogba’s long-term future at United has been questioned in recent weeks after coming to blows with manager Jose Mourinho.

The France international’s agent, Mino Raiola, is reportedly even sounding out potential clubs to sign the United star this summer.

There are few clubs that could afford to convince United to cash in on Pogba, but PSG would be one of them.

Pogba is widely regarded as one of the most exciting central midfielders in the world and he has revealed a desire to play alongside Neymar in the future.

“Yes, Neymar. I like him,” he told Argentinian television channel TyC Sports, via The Independent. “He has the definition of happiness on the pitch.

“In Brazil football is everything, it’s life in Brazil. Everyone plays football. I love to see him on the pitch playing, with his technique and his ability. It’s a different style.

“When you say the world Neymar around the world, everyone knows who he is and what he does. Therefore if I could play with him one day it would be a pleasure.”

Since returning to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016, United have a far better win ratio in the Premier League when Pogba has started (59.6%) compared to the matches when he hasn’t (47.6%).

While his recent performances have been criticised, only Kevin De Bruyne (14) and Leroy Sane (11) have provided more Premier League assists than Pogba (9) this season.
