Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has decided he wants a new challenge with just under two weeks left in the summer transfer window, claims Sky Sports.
The 32-year-old has two years left to run on his current Bayern deal and the Bundesliga champions value him in excess of £100m.
Lewandowski has spent the last seven years at Bayern and has developed into one of the best strikers in the world.
The Poland international, who turns 33 on Sunday, is happy at Bayern but has reportedly made it clear he wants to play for another major European side.
Manchester City is an obvious next destination for Lewandowski where he would reunite with former Bayern manager Pep Guardiola.
City are on the market for a new striker this summer but are currently trying to prise Harry Kane from Tottenham in a British transfer record deal.

Tottenam chairman Daniel Levy is digging his heels in over Kane's departure, however, and City may have to look elsewhere with time running out to get a deal sorted.
City let Sergio Aguero leave on a free tranfer in the summer and Gabriel Jesus only scored nine league goals last season.
Lewandowski, meanwhile, broke the Bundesliga record for most goals in a single campaign last term after remarkably scoring 41 times in just 29 appearances.
