Juventus rejected monster bid for striker

Juventus rejected a massive €80m bid from Barcelona for striker Paulo Dybala last month, reports Tuttosport.

Dybala has been in fine form for Juventus following his summer arrival from Palermo, netting 11 goals and providing a further seven assists in Serie A for the Old Lady this season.

His form has caught the attention of Barcelona, who are keen to improve their attacking options with the capture of the Argentina international.

However, Juventus are understandably reluctant to allow Dybala leave for any price and reportedly spurned a new offer for the youngster from the La Liga giants days after their initial big-money bid was placed.

The 22-year-old's excellent start to life in Turin has helped him gain a WhoScored rating of 7.64, a figure bettered only by comaptriot and Napoli frontman Gonzalo Higuain (7.88).
