Monaco have announced they have signed Marseille left-back Benjamin Mendy on a five-year deal.
Mendy, 21, was heavily linked away from a troubled Marseille side throughout the back end of last season and has finally sealed his move away worth a reported €15m (£12m).
“I am very proud to get involved with AS Monaco,” Mendy told Monaco’s official website. “It’s a new challenge for me. I hope progress and turned a corner with this great club championship of France.”
Since the start of August 2014, no player has completed more accurate crosses in Ligue 1 than Mendy (79).
