Napoli will start negotiations with Allan over a new contract this week, reports Radio Crc, via Football Italia.
Allan has less than two years remaining on his existing deal and the Serie A giants are keen to resolve his long-term future after establishing himself as a key player under Maurizio Sarri.
The 26-year-old, who was one of Sarri's first signings as Napoli manager, is an unheralded cog in midfield and provides energy at both ends of the pitch to help his team flourish.
Allan’s agent, Gustavo Arribals, will reportedly attend Napoli’s Champions League clash with Manchester City on Wednesday night and contract talks will start afterwards.
While Allan has excelled defensively, he has also proved a threat in attack. In his three years at Napoli, the Brazilian has played a direct hand in 17 Serie A goals (six goals, 11 assists).
In the last six Serie A campaigns, Allan has completed more tackles than any other player (655).
