Bayern keep tabs on Premier League hitman

Romelu Lukaku has emerged as a transfer target for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, reports the Sunday Mirror.

The Belgian has been in fine form for the Toffees this season netting 18 league goals, a return bettered only by Jamie Vardy (19).

His goalscoring performances have attracted interest from teams across the continent, with Bayern the latest to join the long list of admirers in the young striker.

Technical director Michael Reschke is believed to have flown in to England in midweek to watch as Lukaku scored in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa in midweek as the German side looks into a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

The Poland international is rumoured to be on his way out of the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, with Real Madrid and PSG both keen on the 27-year-old.
