Tottenham are interested in signing Wolfsburg winger and former Chelsea man Andre Schurrle, according to The Daily Mirror.
Pochettino’s side are all but guaranteed Champions League football next season and they will need to strengthen their squad to cope with more fixtures.
Schurrle only joined Wolfsburg from Chelsea over a year ago but the Bundesliga side are set to miss out on European football altogether next season and the German World Cup winner is also reportedly unhappy working for manager Dieter Hecking.
According to reports, intermediaries have already put the wheels in motion for a deal between Spurs and Wolfsburg.
Schurrle, who can play in a variety of forward positions, has played a direct hand in three more goals this season (9) than he had managed in the whole of last season combined (6).
