Liverpool have rejected a bid worth £11.8m from French side Marseille for midfielder Wataru Endo, according to The Athletic.
Endo made the move to Anfield from German side Stuttgart a year ago, and made 43 appearances in his debut season with the club.
Liverpool paid approximately £16.2m to sign the 31-year-old last summer, but are believed to be aware of further interest from other clubs across Europe.
The Reds are not understood to be actively seeking the sale of Endo, with there presently being a ‘lack of market opportunities’ in terms of recruiting a replacement.
