Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik will undergo knee surgery on Monday before being ruled out for four months, reports Sport Mediaset, via Football Italia.
Milik suffered knee ligament damage in his right knee during Napoli’s 3-2 win over SPAL on Saturday and is now set to miss a large chunk of the season.
The 23-year-old suffered an ACL injury in his other knee during his maiden campaign with Napoli last season, where he was also sidelined for more than four months.
Milik reportedly had a consultation with Professor Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome on Sunday and the Poland international is facing a similarly long stint on the sidelines after surgery.
The Napoli No.99 has scored two goals in four appearances across league and European action this season.
