Turkish side Fenerbahce expect to complete a deal to sign Manchester United forward Robin van Persie, according to Sky Sports.
Van Persie's future at the Old Trafford remains uncertain and has been linked with a move away all summer, with Fenerbahce and Besiktas among the suitors.
The Turkish club's director Guiliano Terraneo is reportedly in London to thrash out a deal for the 31-year-old, who has one-year remaining on his current deal.
The move would mark Fenerbahce’s second signing from United this summer, after wrapping up a deal to sign Nani last week and the Portugal international is keen to reunite with Van Persie in Istanbul.
"I haven’t had the chance to talk with Robin van Persie yet," Nani said. "But if he comes to Fenerbahce, I am sure that he will be very successful.
"I know Robin very well and it would be the right decision if Fenerbahce sign him."
The Netherlands international has only started in just over half (56.6%) of United’s Premier League games in the last two years with injuries taking their toll on the former Arsenal striker. Nevertheless, no United teammate scored more goals than Van Persie in the last six Premier League campaigns (105).
