Leicester forward holds talks about future amid Tottenham interest

Demarai Gray has held talks with Leicester about his future at the club amid interest from a host of big clubs around Europe, claims Sky Sports.

The England U21 international joined Leicester from Birmingham 12 months ago but struggled to get first team football under Claudio Ranieri and Craig Shakespeare.

Gray grew frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities last season and has now held talks with the club about a possible move away this summer, although Shakespeare’s side have no intention of letting him go.

Reports of a £22m release clause were false, but the likes of Tottenham, Everton and even Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Gray this summer and will continue to monitor his future.

Only one player aged 21 and under to have made at least 40 appearances in the last two Premier League campaigns completed a dribble more often than Gray (1 every 25.3 minutes of action).
