Barcelona's illusive search for a fourth striker has taken them to Valencia striker Paco Alcacer, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
Luis Enrique has been desperate to sign a fourth striker to complement their world class trident this summer and Barcelona have already missed out on Kevin Gameiro and Luciano Vietto.
The La Liga champions have previously tried to sign Alcacer down the years but have now rekindled their interest in an attempt to solve their troublesome position before the season starts.
Barcelona have reportedly offered Munir El Haddadi in part of the deal but it still remains unclear whether Alcacer is willing to become a reserve striker.
Alcacer has scored at least five more goals than any other Valencia player in the last two La Liga seasons (24).
