Monaco are favourites to sign Chelsea reserve Michy Batshuayi, according to ESPN.
Batshuayi is looking for more playing time next season after barely featuring for Chelsea during their Premier League winning campaign.
Antonio Conte’s side paid more than £30m to sign the Belgium international from Marseille last summer but his fortunes aren’t expected to change next season with Romelu Lukaku set to return to the club.
West Ham are thought to be interested in the 23-year-old having missed out on his signature to Chelsea 12 months ago but Monaco, who can offer Champions League football, are ready to hand Batshuayi a return to France.
With Diego Costa also on his way out of the club, Batshuayi’s future may not be resolved until later in the summer as Conte looks to bolster his squad for the return of European football next season.
The former Marseille striker made 20 appearances in the Premier League last season but only one of those came as a starter for Conte’s side. However, no player required fewer minutes per Premier League goal last season than the Chelsea striker (1 every 47.8 minutes of action).
