Eintracht Frankfurt are worried that Real Madrid will recall loan star Jesus Vallejo early from his year-long loan deal, reports Bild, via AS.
Vallejo, 19, has made a sensational start to life in Germany following his loan switch in the summer and has already been described as a “machine” by manager Niko Kovac.
However, with Pepe and Sergio Ramos sidelined, Madrid currently only have Nacho and Raphael Varane as their only fit central defenders and their worrying performances at the back could lead to a recall for the promising Frankfurt defender.
The Spain U21 international has not made a senior appearance for Madrid after joining from Zaragoza in 2015. No player has completed more interceptions in the Bundesliga for Frankfurt this season than Vallejo (25). Not only that, but the teenager has completed more passes than any other teammate (418).
