Alexis Sanchez has completed his Manchester United medical and is expected to be officially unveiled in the next 48 hours, reports The Daily Mirror.
Sanchez flew to Manchester by private jet on Sunday morning to put the finishing touches on his blockbuster move to United where he will reportedly pocket £400,000-a-week.
United are now waiting for Henrikh Mkhitaryan to complete his medical with Arsenal, which is due to take place over the next two days, before they can officially complete Sanchez’s transfer.
Both players are trading places in a straight swap deal with no fee involved after all parties agreed personal terms on Saturday evening.
Sanchez will have to wait until Tuesday before training with his new United teammates after Jose Mourinho gave his players two days off following their 1-0 win away to Burnley on Saturday.
The 29-year-old has scored seven goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season, half as many as he had at this stage of the last campaign.
