Belgium international could make £65m move before Euros

Romelu Lukaku’s father has claimed the striker could leave Everton in a £65m deal before the European Championships start on June 10.

Everton are expected to receive plenty of interest in their star striker and could be forced to sell the Belgium international following their woeful campaign that saw them finish in the bottom half of the table.

Lukaku, 23, has already been linked with a high profile move to the likes of Manchester United this season and any potential suitor will have to match Everton’s reported £65m asking price, according to his father.

“Everton are asking around £65m for Rom. I think a transfer will be done before the Euros,” he told Belgium news outlet Humo, via The Daily Mirror.

“Romelu will decide his future, but agents have the last word most of the time. I hope and think Mino Raiola is an honest man.”
