Leicester have confirmed Islam Slimani has joined French side Monaco on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Slimani has been a huge disappointment at Leicester since joining the Foxes from Sporting in August 2016 for a then-club record £29m fee.
The Algeria international spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce but failed to rediscover his best form for the Turkish giants.
Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim has now secured a reunion with the 31-year-old having previously worked together at Sporting.
Slimani’s arrival all but paves the way for Radamel Falcao to secure a move to Galatasaray.
Inter striker Mauro Icardi was heavily linked with a move to Monaco before the player’s wife and agent ruled out a transfer to the French side.
Slimani played a bit-part role in Algeria’s triumph at this summer’s Africa Cup of Nations but still played a direct hand in three goals in 133 minutes of action.
The veteran striker has scored eight goals in 35 league matches for Leicester and has two years left to run on his current deal at the club.
