Watford have announced they have signed Brazilian attacker Richarlison from Fluminense on a five-year deal until June 2022.
The Hornets have been heavily linked with a move for the 20-year-old all month and have now pulled off a surprise deal worth a reported £11.2m.
Marco Silva’s side agreed a fee with Fluminense at the start of August but the transfer was held up as the club waited for a work permit.
Richarlison can play on both wings and will help solve a shortage in attack for Watford ahead of the new season that starts on Friday.
Of the 93 players that have attempted at least 20 dribbles in the Brasileirao this season, Richarlison has the worst success rate (18.2%).
