Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has emerged as a top transfer target for Barcelona and Manchester City in January, according to The Daily Mail.
Bellerin, 21, was linked with a return to Barcelona at the start of the summer but the right-back rebuffed any interest from the La Liga champions as he is settled at Arsenal.
Nevertheless, Barcelona will step up their interest in the Spain international when the transfer window opens in January and they will be joined in the race by Pep Guardiola’s City.
Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna don’t appear to have long-term futures at City with the way in which Guardiola wants his full-backs to place and has seemingly earmarked Bellerin as the ideal defender to carry out his philosophy.
Since the start of last season no Arsenal player has started more Premier League matches than Bellerin (41).
